Also known as The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin was a television personality, zookeeper, wildlife expert, and environmentalist. He had a natural love for crocodiles and other reptiles and entertained his fans with his great sense of adventure and his contagious smile. The last picture taken of Irwin was taken on his boat. He was traveling and filming a documentary with marine biologist Chris Jones.

Irwin passed away only two days after this photo of him was shot.
