Philip Seymour Hoffman
Phillip Seymour Hoffman was an American actor, director, and producer. Even though he never became a household name, his work was wildly respected in Hollywood. Some of his most popular movies include Capote, Charlie Wilson’s War, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, and The Master. Hoffman’s life ended up taking a dark turn later on.
Hoffman was battling substance abuse for years with very little support from others. His addiction grew so severe that he was even asked to leave his family home. The last picture of Hoffman shows him speaking to a fan at a bar. Three days later, he overdosed in his Manhattan apartment at age 46.
