Known internationally as Princess Leia from the acclaimed Star Wars series, Carrie Fisher is one of the most recognizable faces and biggest household names in the world. Her death was quite tragic considering she had much work left to do with the epic series and held an enormous fan base. 

Millions of hearts around the world shattered when she passed away from a heart attack in 2016. Due to her success, many of Fisher’s moments in life included signing autographs and taking pictures with Star Wars-obsessed fans. The last photo of Fisher was taken with a fan hours before boarding a flight where her fatal heart attack occurred.
