One of the most universally respected artists in the world, Tupac Shakur — known worldwide as Tupac — was a monumentally famous actor, rapper, and poet. He rose to stardom fast and furiously at a young age, which allowed him to develop a strong ego that caused trouble in the hip-hop community. 

Tupac’s rebellious activity and affiliations with West Coast gang members ended up costing him his life. The last photo of the talented singer was taken in an SUV before falling victim to a drive-by shooting that he survived for six days before dying in his hospital bed in 1996.
