This “queue hack” isn’t as lazy as it is ingenious. In some countries in South America, people will queue up by taking off their sandals and placing them in order of arrival. That way, they’ll know it’s their turn when their sandals are at the very front of the line.
This system is actually a lot more efficient than printing numbered sheets of paper or using numbered cars. If you really want to go paperless, make sure your customers line up by queueing up their sandals or shoes. Just try not to wear Jordans while running errands.
