The coins in this picture were handed down from father to son, and they’re now in the hands of the original owner’s grandchild. The man whose life was saved by six coins came back from the war unscathed.

For whatever reason, the grandfather kept six coins in his pocket at all times while at war. After being struck by a bullet, he immediately checked his heart (his breast pocket) to find a warped bullet and four coins that have seen better days.
