Your Inner Grandma
Everyone likes to talk about their inner child. “My inner child is telling me to down an entire tub of ice cream in one sitting!” “My inner child wants me to jump off the second-story roof, just to see whether or not my shin bones will absorb the fall.”
What people don’t realize is that they might not have an inner child at all. If you pay close attention, the voice in your mind is an old grumpy woman’s voice. She’s secretly judging everyone you see while wanting nothing more than to hop into bed at 8 PM and spend the next four to five hours watching YouTube shorts.
