How to get a scholarship
Applying for a scholarship can be difficult, regardless of how much or how little the scholarship offers. You’re going head-to-head with applicants who probably have one or more advantages over you. One of those advantages might be where they grew up.
Well, this person was on the better end of the unfair stick when applying for a scholarship. Although this person’s district was broken up and absorbed into neighboring districts 60 years ago, a scholarship for people from the old district was still available. After realizing this, the OP applied for said scholarship and was the only person to do so. Isn’t winning by default the best?
