Looking Back on Our Favorite Discontinued Items

April 25, 2012 by Jade Parker

“Rip, Slip, Brush, Ah!”

Nobody wants to be that guy with stank breath wafting into the personal space of everyone at the office: cue the mints and gum. They might freshen our breath, but they don’t take care of the scummy bits that hang around on our enamel after lunch, so Oral-B offered us a solution with Brush-Ups.

The textured tooth wipes were a quick and easy way to get our teeth squeaky clean without having to stick a travel toothbrush in our pocket, and they had a catchy jingle we still can’t get out of our heads. They left the toothpaste aisle in 2006, and competitors swooped in to sell their own versions, but the internet wants the real Brush-Ups back.
