Squealing for Squeezits
There were the run-of-the-mill juice boxes that you’d punch with a sharpened straw and suck your way through in the school cafeteria, and then there was the satisfying crack of twisting of the top of a Squeezit. The fruit-flavored juice drinks were like a syrupy melted popsicle in a bottle.
The brand kept it exciting over the years with mystery flavors and a color change edition, but it wasn’t enough to keep Smarty Arty Orange, Rockin’ Red Puncher, Mean Green Puncher, Grumpy Grape, Chucklin’ Cherry, Berry B. Wild, and Silly Billy Strawberry around forever. The gang retired in 2001 for good, but the internet wants them back.
