At Least There’s a Good Copycat
Not everyone is an early bird who can spring out of bed before the alarm kicks them out of slumberland. The rest of us need that extra kick to get the day started, so we turn to coffee or extra-caffeinated energy drinks, but not all energy drinks are made the same.
SoBe Adrenaline Rush didn’t taste like every supplement from a GNC ground up and splashed with artificial flavor. The unlabeled passion fruit flavor was more natural than its competitors. The drink was allegedly pulled from US shelves in 2009 over concerns about the high caffeine, guarana, and L-Carnitine content. A Guatemalan copycat bearing the same name has become popular among those missing the real deal.
