Looking Back on Our Favorite Discontinued Items

April 25, 2012 by Jade Parker

The Pringles Pop Box

We might have a hard time remembering what they were called, but we will never forget the little wavy chip-shaped containers the lucky kids had tossed into their lunchboxes in the late 90s. Pringles Pop Boxes came in various colors, and we coveted the glittered editions, trusting them to keep our greasy snacks safe on the trip to school.

Pop Boxes were designed to make a full-sized tube of Pringles last for seven days of single-servings, but they didn’t stick around forever. In 2016, UK supermarket chain ASDA brought the snack pots back for a limited time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our favorite mini plastic pack. You can still find the original glittered Pop Boxes on eBay for around $20.
