Loopholes in Seinfeld We Can’t Ignore Any Longer

While it’s ideal to be friendly with your neighbors, no one wants someone to drop by multiple times a day unannounced, raid their fridge, and throw loud parties. Kramer, however, is not Jerry’s only odd neighbor. Sworn enemies, for some unknown reason, Newman is Seinfeld’s primary villain. Newman is also arguably the world’s worst Mailman.

The only time you see Newman being friendly with Jerry is when he needs something from him. In fact, the two so rarely get along that there’s an entire episode dedicated to Jerry and Newman forming an alliance to help Newman move away. That said, we never get the real story on why the two hate each other so much, which creates a pretty big loophole.
