Loopholes in Seinfeld We Can’t Ignore Any Longer

Lloyd Braun appears on several episodes as George’s childhood nemesis. George’s parents adore Lloyd fully, even openly favoring him over their own son. Mrs. Costanza has reportedly said to George throughout the show “Why can’t you be more like Lloyd Braun?” which often leads George to scream “Serenity now” in an effort to calm himself.

George seems to be the only one who sees Lloyd Braun for what he really is – a fraud. His parents adore him, and Elaine even dates him briefly! At one point George remarks that they found a family in his freezer. No one asks any questions about that, and we’re not sure we want to know more about it. One thing’s for sure: Lloyd Braun might actually be criminally insane, and everyone’s okay with it.
