We’re Mad About Friends
There are two types of people in the world – Seinfeld fans and Friends fans. If you’re reading this article, you must be the former. We touched a bit already about the similarities between the two shows and they they run on the same network, during the same years. Separate shows with separate stories, they still had some suspicious similarities, from plot lines to neighborhoods.
We find out that Kramer is actually subletting his apartment from Paul Beckman, the husband and one of the main characters on Mad About You. In one episode of Friends, we learn that Mad About You (which ran during the same years) also had a cross-over with Friends, when we find out Ursula is Phoebe’s twin sister. In one Seinfeld episode, George and Susan watch Mad About You, while in a MAY episode, Paul runs into Jerry on the street. So, did the shows actually take place in the same universe?
