If God Made Us the Same, We’d All Have Cochlear Implants
A cochlear implant is a device that is worn behind the ear. It helps the wearer by transmitting sounds, which they would otherwise be unable to hear. To help his daughter not feel like an “oddball,” (kids can be hard) this dad decided to get a tattoo of a cochlear implant behind his ear.
This reminds us of that line in Forrest Gump, when his mother tells a young Forrest, “If God wanted us to be the same, we’d all have braces on our legs.” That seems to be the kind of statement this father has made with this adorable tattoo.
