Hamilton
Hamilton is a Swiss watch company that originated in the United States. Today, it is appreciated by consumers for its fine Swiss precision combined with the essence of a classic American spirit of innovation. The brand came to life during the construction of the American railroad and contributed to the project by providing pocket watches to workers, which helped reduce railroad accidents.
Like other brands, Hamilton eventually moved on to aviation, developing watches that assisted in time accuracy for the new coast-to-coast United States Airmail service. Today, Hamilton is the Official Timekeeper of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. They’ve enjoyed much success over the years. In 1957, the Hamilton Venture was the first electronic, battery operated watch and the Hamilton Pulsar was the first LED digital watch ever made.
