Malmo is a Winter Wonderland
Most would argue that the best part of Malmo, the coastal city in southern Sweden, is the center city, Lilla Torg, which is a cobblestone square with cafes and shops selling local handmade crafts. So you can probably guess what you can find at Lilla Torg during Christmas time. Christmas markets!
It’s a common Christmas tradition for the local people of Malmo to leave out herring and aquavit for Santa Claus, similar to how children leave out cookies for him in exchange for presents. The snowy city gives off the ambiance of a winter wonderland so beautiful that you’ll want to walk along the sixteenth-century town square.
