Risotto
Microwaved risotto? We must be pulling your leg, right? There’s no way you can accelerate cooking risotto, which is a process that usually takes around 40 minutes. Well, if you don’t want to be fancy with your risotto, this is how you cook it in the microwave.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add ½ a tablespoon of butter and diced onions before microwaving for 90 seconds. Add ¼ of a cup of raw rice and ¼ of a cup of your go-to broth. Cover the bowl with a microwave-safe plastic wrap and cook for two minutes. Pour in a tiny splash of wine and whatever vegetables you want before covering again and cooking for an additional two minutes. A grating of parmesan is in order before serving.
