Steamed Broccoli
Steaming vegetables like broccoli doesn’t require dirtying several pots and pans. If you have a microwave and a bit of patience, steaming broccoli is a cinch. The best part is that you have full control over how crispy or soft the broccoli comes out.
Cut the broccoli florets and place them in a bowl. Add some butter, salt, pepper, and a couple of cloves of sliced garlic. Microwave the broccoli mixture for three minutes before testing for doneness. When it’s done, mix the steamed broccoli to combine all of the ingredients, and smother the whole thing in melted cheese (optional but mandatory).
