Baked Potato
How exactly do you bake a potato in the microwave, you ask? Well, you can’t, but if you read the loaded potato recipe from earlier, you’ll see that it’s not that impossible. It’ll just take longer for the potato to fully cook in the microwave, which isn’t the worst thing in the world.
Poke a russet potato with a fork to let built-in steam puff out. Put the potato in the microwave and nuke for 12 minutes on high, making sure that the potato doesn’t explode. After 12 minutes, the skin should be wrinkly. Now, slice the potato in half and fluff it with a fork. Add a copious amount of butter, as well as salt and pepper to taste, and you’re finished.
