#32: Careful with Money
For many other reasons, George is always struggling financially. He starts with a place of his own, but from the moment he loses his job in real estate, he struggles to find his own place and ends up living with his parents. With George always searching for a new job and Kramer never seeming to be employed, Jerry is definitely the most financially stable of all the characters.
Yet, he doesn’t flaunt his earnings, though he does own a computer (which back in the nineties was a big deal!). His friends even comment on his financial state from time to time, and there’s even one episode where Elaine is blinded (metaphorically) by Jerry’s fortune. However, the computer sitting in his living room seems to be nothing more than a prop – as, throughout the show, he only uses it once!
