45 Plot Holes and Unresolved Loopholes in Seinfeld That Have Been Bugging Us for Years

This has always bothered us about the show: we always hear about the siblings of the three friends, but it’s pretty obvious they don’t actually exist. George, Jerry, and Elaine bring up their sisters, brothers, and even sisters and brothers-in-law on different occasions, but we never actually meet them, and it’s pretty clear they don’t exist.

There are plenty of holidays and family gatherings that occur throughout the show (including Festivus and Jerry visiting his parents in Florida on different occasions). Yet, those “siblings” never appear and aren’t even mentioned at those events. Elaine even mentions her sister’s name – Gail, yet we never meet her. She never speaks on the phone with her so much. What’s up with that?
