#35: A Whole Person
Something that people tend to overlook when it comes to having children is that they aren’t meant to be a carbon copy of their parents. So many people think that they have some sort of right to tell their kids how to present themselves and how to think because, essentially, they are attempting to create “mini-me’s”.

There are a lot of people that say that they will love their child no matter what when that just isn’t the case. The second their child does anything that they don’t agree with or isn’t in line with their own personal ideology, then they will do everything in their power to make sure they don’t do it again. Shouldn’t children be free thinkers?
