#5: Self-Care
One thing that will hopefully never go out of style? Self-care. We all need to learn to step back and take real breaks. Sitting there and thinking about work or being cross with yourself because you haven’t ticked everything off your to-do list isn’t going to make you feel better in the long run.
In fact, we seem to have forgotten entirely that life is meant to be lived, and part of that is embracing the calm we desperately need to recharge. Iris is right. It’s not restful unless it’s true rest. Take some time today, even if it’s five minutes, to push aside all your worries and just revel at the moment.
