While growing up, millennials were used to seeing the excitement in their parents’ eyes when they would go to Walmart or Costco to get a huge bulk of any item they could think of at a low price. But millennials today are totally against purchasing bulk groceries, and for a good reason.
It may go back to the laziness stereotype, or it might just be more convenient, but millennials have been cooking at home much less. Take-out and pre-packaged food has become the new norm of eating. Millennials are also more accustomed to buying products online. How would they get those huge bulk products home, anyway? Remember, most of them don’t have cars!
