Doorbells
To millennials, doorbells are ancient technology. And there are a few reasons for this. First of all, we already discussed how most millennials station themselves in urban areas that mostly consist of apartment buildings rather than single-family homes, where doorbells are not usually installed. Improvements in technology are another reason these tiny little noisemakers are no longer used as often.

Even if a millennial has a doorbell, their visitors are most likely going to send a text instead of ringing the bell to announce their arrival. However, modern doorbells aren’t really used for this purpose anyway, and more as a safety procedure. Wireless security cameras and video doorbells are installed more frequently today.
