CDs and DVDs
Ah, remember the good old days of going to the record stores, spending tons of money on CDs that had 12 songs each, only five of which you actually liked, and of course the inconvenience of having to carry around a bulky walkman and CD case, and constantly change the disks? You noted my sarcasm there, right? I sure hope so!
This used to be how everyone listened to music. When Apple’s iPod came out, which could store hundreds of select songs, it was a godsend to most. But millennials were just kids, so they pretty much grew up with these devices. Over the years, Apple released several different iPods in all kinds of sizes and colors while other tech brands followed. Inevitably, by the late 2000s, everyone began downloading music to their smartphones.
