Cereal
So there are two sides to this one, and one of them is actually pretty funny. We just discussed how millennials can be health-obsessed individuals. They are more conscious that the sometimes nostalgic cereals they grew up with are actually full of sugar with no protein value. And who needs that?

Ready for the humor? The other main reason Gen Y is going against cereal is because of the mess to clean up afterward. The popular stereotype that millennials can be lazy is going to be harder to argue when you learn that millennials commonly choose power bars that only involve throwing the wrapper away because washing a bowl and spoon, and putting the cereal back in the pantry, has become too much.
