There’s either been an error in judgment or a glitch with the GPS. Semi-truck drivers muscle through nearly 170 hours of training to prevent these types of situations, but perhaps this driver was busy daydreaming when the instructor gave the PowerPoint on how to avoid wedging yourself under an overpass.
Occasionally GPS systems won’t bother to mention there’s a low bridge coming up, trapping truckers on a course to disaster. In either case, there’s a Halford’s out there wondering why their bicycles haven’t shown up, and I’ve got some unfortunate news for them.
