Catching a Case of Crabs
This isn’t what we meant when we said we need to pinch one off in the toilet after a long day at work. Most of us never imagine this would be an actual thing that happens, but it turns out finding crabs taking a swim in your toilet, ready to use their claws on anything that dangles in, is a lot more common than you’d think.
They usually wind up there as an ill-advised prank or because they got too adventurous and wandered through septic pipes leading to your bathroom. Regardless, walking in the bathroom to be greeted by a giant crab in your crapper is nothing short of alarming unless you live on Christmas Island, where millions of crabs migrate from the forest to the ocean every year to expand the population.
