Not So Scientific
If there’s one thing we could learn from the Jurassic Park franchise, it’s that just because you can, doesn’t mean you should, especially when you’re talking about resurrecting giant extinct creatures. In the original movie, Dr. John Hammond is shown extracting blood from the gut of a mosquito caught inside amber to clone dinosaurs. While it seems far-fetched, it still may be plausible except for one glaring error.
According to experts, that particular mosquito known as the elephant mosquito doesn’t suck blood at all, thus making it impossible to extract dinosaur DNA from it. No DNA means no dinosaurs!
