J-Lo’s first husband has been trying for years to publicly embarrass her
The breakup of J-Lo’s first marriage to then-waiter Ojani Noa isn’t the only celebrity divorce that has been incredibly cruel. The 1997 union lasted just 11 months, but they saw one another frequently after that — in court. In 2006, Noa intended a tell-all book about the relationship, which Jennifer successfully sued to stop under a confidentiality agreement breach claim.
In 2012, Noa threatened to release photos from their honeymoon showing J-Lo in compromising circumstances. She was able to stop the release once again in court. Finally, in 2016, Noa claimed on a reality TV program that their marriage broke down because Lopez prioritized her career over him.
