Ben’s apparent lack of interest in reconnecting with Smith probably went down as well as you’d expect, which may or may not have contributed to Ben not reaching out after Smith’s near-fatal 2018 heart attack. Thankfully, when Ben appeared in 2019’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, the two were able to reconcile, culminating in a reunion in which Smith said he “just melted” into Affleck’s embrace.
