Wait, What?
This is something I absolutely did not believe, but it’s true! According to legend, the very first pig flew on J.T.C Moore-Brabazon’s self-built Voisin plane. It took place in the United Kingdom, so I’m shocked that few people know it. When they’ve completed a task, they like to inform the rest of the world about it. Maybe they resented the fact that the airplane was French.
The phrase “when pigs fly” has been used since the 1600s, and this guy wanted to ensure it occurred. That sign isn’t a Photoshop job, either. He wrote it out and stuck it on the pig’s basket himself. They traveled 3.7 miles from Shellbeach at Leysdown. The pig’s name has disappeared into history if it had one in the first place. I propose we refer to it as Uno.
