Women Power
Ah, the beautiful imagery of nuns riding away in a Mercedes after selling off their holy soil and purchasing racehorses is almost too painful to consider. In 1990, the convent was sold for $1.4 million. You’re mistaken if you thought this occurred long ago. They also acquired five other luxury automobiles, bringing the total number to eleven racehorses, a castle, and a farm. These nuns had a strategy in mind, and they carried it out wonderfully.
Better yet, in the same month, another nun changed her convent into a luxurious hotel with pink bathrooms and began charging visitors. She had a “habit of smoking and driving fast cars” that the church didn’t like, so she built a luxury hotel as retribution for being defrocked. I don’t think she has anything to apologize for. You may be holy and enjoy yourself at the same time, can’t you?
