Same, Jamie, Same
Jamie, you aren’t the only one who is frustrated by this. I could go hiking six days a week, and while I would gain muscle, all my fat would stay where it was. When I work out, somehow, I seem to weigh more instead of losing weight. Finally, after much uncertainty, I decided to accept it.
I keep telling myself that this fixation on being thin is a new development and that in centuries past, fat women were thought to be beautiful. After having two children, I’ll never again look the same as before, so I don’t stress it any longer. Embrace yourself! Be the rotund partridge!
