What won’t go out of style? Self-care, of course. We all need to learn how to take real breaks to rest our minds and recharge them. In the end, sitting there thinking about work or getting angry with yourself because you haven’t completed everything on your to-do list is not going to make you feel better.
We seem to have lost sight of the fact that life is meant to be experienced, and part of that is accepting the calm we need to recharge. Iris is correct: unless it’s real rest, it isn’t relaxing. Today, even if it’s only for five minutes, take some time to put your concerns on hold and enjoy the moment.
