A portal to terror
Spiders are often infamous for their role in horror films and children’s stories. They’re generally feared because of how they look, as many species have large fangs or venomous bites. One hazardous type of spider is the Giant Tarantula. Even though it can’t shoot needles, this spider is still very deadly; it weaves huge webs that its prey can easily get caught in.
As this image demonstrates, this type of spider is capable of constructing an enormous and intricate web. If you look closely, you can see that the “tunnel” in the center of the web leads to the inside of a tree – somewhere, it goes to shelter itself and feast on its prey. The spider vigilantly guards its home against any perceived threats. So… would YOU be brave enough to put your hand in there?
