Mike Silva Jr. left this note in 1969, and it took 49 years to find it. Bob Michlitsch breaking the sink caused Mike and his father to need to replace it, but they did a wonderful job because the bathroom was not remodeled again until 2018.

The phone call was placed, and then the note was found. Mike Silva III informed his father, who was still alive, of the discovery. Mike Jr., while remembering that the sink had broken, couldn’t recall who Michlitsch was or how he’d done it. It appears that this riddle will never be solved.
