Great, a cursed couch
A post-it note was discovered on a sofa that was being reupholstered. According to the note, D.H.H. Martin and his wife Gladys bought the couch in 1959 and refinished it themselves, leaving Martin to believe he did an excellent job (as reflected by the overall tone). It’s incredible that the couch has been around for so long and that the note survived intact for over 60 years.
Whether they’re still alive or not, the two are certainly gone by now. It is believed that a person dies twice – once physically and again when their final thoughts are recalled. Today, we all thought of D.H.H. and Gladys again, didn’t we?
