It’s been almost ten years since Kate Middleton arrived at Westminster Abbey in an Alexander McQueen wedding gown, and she’s stayed the Duchess of Cambridge that we’ve all fallen in love with. Whether she’s doing charity work or dropping off her children for their first day of school, Middleton has a habit of wearing the most fabulous clothing. The public has been captivated by the duchess’ style, her fashion recycling, and her selection of environmentally responsible brands – we can’t blame them. For years, the duchess has been fashionable and the ultimate royal style source, and believe us when we say this year was no exception.

The Royal Ascot
The Queen’s Annual Tradition is the Royal Ascot, a racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire, London, used for thoroughbred horse racing. The Duchess of Cambridge’s light-blue Ascot dress was created by Elie Saab and was beautifully detailed, from the sheer sleeves to the tiny polka dots.

The duchess looked lovely in her Philip Treacy hat, topped with a flower pattern and complemented the dress. The Queen was also spotted wearing blue and a floral cap for the occasion, who also wore blue and a floral headdress.
