Doctors recommend not to sleep naked
Dr. Anthony Youn has recently revealed why he believes it’s better to sleep with clothes on. He mentions that snoring and passing gas are common occurrences during sleep, and both activities can be disruptive (and potentially embarrassing) for a partner who is also in bed. Dr. Youn is backed by scientific studies which show that people pass gas an average of 15-25 times per day, often releasing small amounts of fecal matter into the air each time they do so.
It seems that our underwear corrals the particles, which stops them from contaminating other surfaces. However, when we are entirely nude in bed with someone else, there is a possibility of spreading these unhygienic fecal materials.
