“Being the Perfect Mother Is SO Hard!”
Mental health issues are real. Don’t ever let people downplay depression, stress, or anything else related to your mental wellbeing. You should do your best to seek help, no matter what society says about speaking to a therapist. Thankfully, the stigma surrounding therapy has died down somewhat, but some people are still too nervous to seek professional help.
This mother suffered from a mental health disorder, but it was clear that she wasn’t going to do anything about it. She didn’t even need a nanny, she just wanted time away from her kids to go shopping, hang out with friends, get her nails did, etc.
