Homelessness is also a topic we’ve seen a lot here. Somehow, people are determined to make the homeless reality harder; it almost seems like a punishment for having a tough life. San Francisco, the innovation capital of America, is taking a step further and finding innovative ways to make sure homeless people can’t even eat.
Let’s do a little math here: San Franciso spent $20K per trash can to ensure homeless people wouldn’t go trash diving for food; if they divided that amount between food and supplies for 20 homeless people, they would each get $1K worth of basic necessities and meals.
