Equality
Well, it happened. A while back, Sarah Thomas expressed her desire to become the first female referee at a Super Bowl match. In Super Bowl LV between the Bucs and the Chiefs, she got what she longed for. She did it, people. She became the first female referee at a Super Bowl. That’s pretty amazing. Hurrahs are definitely in order for Sarah!

Good for her for making history and showing to the world that female referees, like their male counterparts, can make bad calls that favor Brady when they matter the most. Congrats on being the first, and we certainly hope that she isn’t the last! On a side note, does anyone actually aspire to become a referee? Just asking.
