We Play to Have Fun
There are three possible answers to the question “who is America rooting for in the Super Bowl.” Football fans are either rooting for the L.A. Rams or Cincinnati Bengals, but of course, like most large sports events around the world, most people who watch the Super Bowl aren’t real football fans.
They just watch the Super Bowl in order to take part in something bigger; they watch it for the commercials and the half-time show, and they watch it as an excuse to hang out with friends and eat hot wings. So, the most accurate answer to the question would be, “who even cares who wins?” What’s your answer?
