#27: Walking For the Sake of Walking
It seems like productivity is king these days. Everything we do has to have a purpose or an end goal. Hustle culture has even claimed the simple concept of walking. Does anyone just walk for fun anymore? Maybe, but a lot of people feel like most of us walk because we “have” to do so for our health.
Walking is great for your health, but that shouldn’t be the only reason you do it! It’s worth it to slow down, stop, and smell the roses once in a while. Besides, walks around the neighborhood can be a lot of fun. We can easily turn this trend of hustle walks on its head by slowing down, seeing the sights, and still experiencing the health benefits along the way.
