#35: “I’m Here”
Texting sure has changed a lot of things. It’s made communicating super easy, fast, and convenient. But some would argue that it’s made some standard manners all but vanish into thin air. Nowadays, when someone swings by your house to pick you up, they almost always text “I’m here” instead of walking to your front door.

For real, though. When was the last time someone got out of their car, walked up to your front door, and rang the doorbell to pick you up? Most of us freak out when someone rings our doorbell! Why would we answer the door? What do they want? If they really wanted to get your attention, they would just text, right?
