#46: Newspaper Vending Machines
Here’s something you probably haven’t thought about in a long time: Newspaper vending machines. Do you remember when those were around? They were first introduced in 1947 and were popular for about three decades. Around the mid-80s, they started to slowly disappear from our world.

In today’s technological age, you don’t see them at all anymore. People hardly read newspapers anymore now that most news outlets have a digital format, not to mention people hardly carry around change anymore, rendering the coin-operated newspaper vending machines pretty much useless.
